The year is 1979 and for 9 years the Dark Lord has wielded his powers in a bid against the Ministry for ultimate power. Attacks on muggles and the muggleborn are commonplace, murder and disappearances are everyday occurences. What was once known as the Dark Rebellion has galloped into full scale war and the word “blood traitor” means no one is safe. 

With many of the attackers still unidentified, fear and distrust run wild.

The group of friends who called themselves the Marauders are still boys yet not unaffected, growing increasingly worried and suspicious of those around them. The woman who will become mother to a prophecy, is just a newly married girl, joining them in the deluge of secrert justice. The Bones’, the McKinnon’s and the Prewett’s still live, but they too have a date against their name. Some join the Dark Lord’s cause willingly, other for their life. Some stand up in defiance, only to be cut down or marred for life.

The one who will save them all is only a few years away, but they don’t know that and they are terrified.
